ALLIANCE FRANCAISE OWERRI TO PARTNER WITH THE MUSEUM

Mr. Maxime Gaudin, the Executive Director, Linguistic Attache SouthEast Zone Alliance Francaise on 22nd Ocotber, 2010 paid a working visit to National Museum, Owerri.

The Curator of the Museums, Mrs. Uboh and her management staff welcomed him in Igbo tradition by the presentation of kola nut.

He was thereafter taken on tour of the Igbo household exhibition which is nearing completion, and also conducted round the "Nigeria @ 50 children art exhibition" where the works of school children selected from primary and post primary schools in the state were exhibited in honour of the nation's 50th Independence Anniversary.

The French Director thanked the Curator and members of her staff for the hospitality accorded him and expressed interest in collaborating with the Museum in related programmes and projects.
