DECLARED MONUMENTS IN NIGERIA

Government House at Zungeru:

This house was built 1902, in the year Lord Lugard established the Administrative headquarters of the Northern Province at Zungeru.

When in 1916 the headquarters was moved to Kaduna, the house was completely dismantled leaving only the concrete foundations and Pillars.

Declaration:
Declared Historic Monument on 13th February, 1962 under N/Authority within one hundred feet on either side of the Crest of Government House Zungeru
