Old West African Force Fort at Okuta:

This fort was built in about 1900 for the defence of Borgu. It overlooks Okuta town and commends a fine defensive position. Now site only.

 

Declaration:
Declared Historic Sites on 23rd April, 1959 and the area within three hundred feet of the perimeter of the wall of the fort.
